“球爹”LaVar Ball 解释 Lonzo Ball 签名鞋贵过 Air Jordan 之缘由

要说上周最受鞋迷热议的话题，当数 2017 NBA 热门状元 Lonzo Ball 以自家品牌名义推出首款签名鞋 ZO2，不仅成为史上第一位拥有签名鞋的未选秀球员，更以 $495 美元的超高售价而引发不小争议，毕竟这个价格比 LeBron James，Kevin Durant 和 Stephen Curry 三人的签名鞋售价总和还要贵，更别提篮球鞋的龍头老大 Jordan Brand 了。最近热衷「炒作」的球员父亲 LaVar Ball 在作客 FS1 节目《Undisputed》时解释了 ZO2 比 Air Jordan 鞋款更贵的原因，在他看来 Michael Jordan 没能在菜鸟赛季之前就拥有一双价值 $100 美元的签名鞋，是因为他不是 Lonzo Ball，NBA 正在进入一个新的纪元叫作「Ball Era」，并且 ZO2 已经是球鞋历史上的里程碑之作。

He don’t have to play in a game, he did more than enough. Look what he did with UCLA. He sold that place out and it hasn’t been sold out in 10 years. What you mean he ain’t did enough? They got Gucci and Prada, what have they done? At least my son can play. Here’s the thing, Michael Jordan could not command $100 for a pair of sneakers [as a rookie], because he ain’t Lonzo Ball, that’s why. I’m gonna tell you again, did [Jordan] have his own brand when he came in? It’s a new era, called the Ball Era. That [ZO2] shoe is symbolic already on the fact that he’s coming in on his own brand. Nobody’s ever done that.
