Ben Affleck 亲自透露 DC 未来大片《闪电侠 The Flash》将会是他最后一次担任「蝙蝠侠」，而他上回登场时已是《Zack Snyder‘s Justice League》。

Ben Affleck 向 The Herald Sun 分享他拍摄《The Flash》的心得，对于他所饰演的角色经验来说，会是个非常好的结局，并宣称也许出现了他最喜欢的蝙蝠侠场景与对蝙蝠侠的演绎及诠释，并希望剧组能维持那个完整性，因为那些画面（亦或故事）真的相当杰出及有趣，而它们所吸引人的地方并不是以角色反差的方式呈现。

“I have never said this – this is hot off the presses – but maybe my favorite scenes in terms of Batman and the interpretation of Batman that I have done, were in The Flash movie.

I hope they maintain the integrity of what we did because I thought it was great and really interesting – different, but not in a way that is incongruent with the character.”

而 Ben Affleck 被问及这些画面能否成功收录最后正片时，他也坦率地表示：「谁知道呢？或许他们觉得这样安排是行不通的，但当我去拍摄时的过程，真的相当有趣且令人满足，十分鼓舞人心，我甚至觉得我有『我想我终于弄明白了』的感觉。」
