除了早前揭晓的 2016 年度球衣销量排行榜之外，此番又有一份研究报告揭示了全球平均薪水最高的足球俱乐部 & 球员排行。来自英超的「红魔」Manchester United 以 ￡11 万英镑的平均周薪排在第一，而 Barcelona, Manchester City 和 Real Madrid 则分列二到四位；球员方面，「绝代双骄」Cristiano Ronaldo 和 Lionel Messi 以 ￡36.5 万英镑的周薪并列第一，而今夏创造世界转会费纪录的 Paul Pogba 则以 ￡29 万英镑排名第五。值得一提的是，在球员榜前十名中，有三位出自中超联赛，分别是排在第四的 Hulk、第六的 Graziano Pelle 和第七的 Ezequiel Labezzi。完整排行榜详见下表：
